Rookies: Gay Erotic Fiction Editor: Shane Allison Publisher: Cleis Press in late 2013 Payment: $50 and 2 copies of the book on publication Deadline: September 1, 2012 (earlier submissions encouraged and preferred)
For this new anthology, I am looking for stories that cater to the theme of rookies, new cops fresh out of the academy who have taken the oath to protect and enjoy getting served. Think security guards, beat cops, detectives that have moved up in the ranks, military police, beefy correctional officers, horny police chiefs, horned up FBI agents and/or U.S. Marshals out to get their man no matter what. I want good cops that aren’t always so good and bad cops who live up to their reputations.
Shane Allison is in search of the best rookie cop raunchy erotica around, focusing on a range of techniques, implements, characters and scenarios, from new styles of gay erotic writing to seasoned scribes. The rookies theme should be a central focus of the erotic element of the story but the plot does not have to hinge on it.
Original, unique, creative characters, settings, scenarios and forms are encouraged. As befitting the title, I’m looking for the best, hottest, most creative erotica for this collection. Original stories strongly preferred, but reprints of work will be considered but will be given lower priority than original work. All characters must be over 18; no incest or bestiality. Let your imagination run wild.
How to submit: Send double spaced Times or Times New Roman 12 point black font Word document with pages numbered (.doc, not .docx) OR RTF of 1,500-4,000 word story. Indent the first line of each paragraph half an inch and double space (regular double spacing, do not add extra lines between paragraphs or do any other irregular spacing). US grammar (double quotation marks around dialogue, etc.) required. Include your legal name (and pseudonym if applicable), mailing address, and 50 word or less bio in the third person to rookiesantho@gmail.com.
If you are using a pseudonym, please provide your real name and pseudonym and make it clear which one you’d like to be credited as. You will receive a confirmation within 72 hours. I will get back to you by December 2012. Be sure to include contact and bio information on the FIRST page of your story.
Payment: $50 and 2 copies of the book on publication Deadline: September 1, 2012 (earlier submissions encouraged and preferred)

Mini-Anthology eBooks Editor: Barbara Cardy Publisher: Constable & Robinson (UK) Running Press (USA) Deadline: 30th of September 2012 Payment: Advance of between £25 and £50 + Royalties
GUIDELINES: I have 36 mini-anthology eBooks to put together for publisher Constable & Robinson in 2012. 12 Straight, 12 Lesbian and 12 Gay.
Each mini-anthology of 10,000 words will include 2, 3 or 4 stories: That could be 4 stories of 2,500 words, 3 stories of 3,300 words or 2 stories of 5,000 words. Please keep as close to those word counts as you possibly can.
This series is the ‘confessions’ series, so all submissions must be written in the first person and should hit the ground running with a jolly good plot! It needs to be really spicy from the kick-off so erotic content must be in the first two or three paragraphs – although not necessarily full blown sex. Unusual scenarios and settings will attract my attention too. There must be at least two sex scenes in the 5,000 word stories. Twosomes, threesomes, groups, spanking, BDSM, fetish, etc are all welcome subjects. Push the boat out with ideas. I would like more really kinky stuff for this new series. Unpublished works only please.

Erotic Lure Newsletter: May/June 2012 |

From the Erotica Readers & Writers Association By Lisabet Sarai _______
Dear Perverse Pagans,
I know some of you might disavow any connection to paganism, but I’m writing this on April 30th – Beltane’s Eve or Walpurgis – and so my thoughts naturally turn to mystic bonfires, fertility rights, May poles (of various sorts) and rowan switches. Okay, I know you’re not interested in my dirty mind, but rather, in the dazzling array of erotic delights we’ve assembled for this month’s edition of the Erotica Readers & Writers Association website. No, this is all about YOUR dirty mind! And believe me, we’ve got what you’re looking for.
For a change of pace, let’s start in the Adult Movie section. John Stagliano’s massive opus “Fashionistas Safado” is now available in a special collectors’ edition – more than eight hours of stunning fetish fashion and edgy, intense S&M sex – and that doesn’t even include the outtakes. I’m starting my Christmas wish list early this year! For an updated (and adult-oriented) take on a classic Western plot, check out “Rawhide II: Dirty Deeds”, a tale of a stubborn ranch-owner determined to hold on to her land, the arrogant developer who’ll do anything in her considerable power to force a sale, and the mysterious drifter who’s the wild card in their deck. Also of note are “Last Tango”, a haunting, explicit revisiting of the Marlon Brando classic, and “Cabaret Desire”, featuring a bohemian cafe where men and woman can commission personalized erotic fantasies. In the smutty porn category, don’t miss the bizarre but arousing “Freak”, about a party girl who ends up in a coma after a night of debauchery and finds herself mentally reliving the increasingly extreme sexual encounters that led to her demise.
I found many more films I wanted to showcase, but I can’t afford to dawdle in a single section for too long. (Why do you think they call Adrienne our web Mistress?) I’ll just quickly remind you to click through to our affiliates like DVD Empire, and Adam & Eve if you’re itching to acquire any of these gems for yourself.
Get visual: erotica-readers.com/ERA/AM/Adult_Movies.htm
From the movie pages, it seems only natural to slide over to the Sex Toy Playground. After all, toys and porn go together like peanut butter and jelly, love and marriage, whips and handcuffs… In this month’s edition, the experts at Good Vibrations provide a treatise on how to select a dildo from today’s many options (hint: their technique involves cucumbers!) Mr. and Mrs. Toy give thumbs up to the multi-speed, multi-pattern Mio vibrating cock ring. And, as usual, the Sex Toy Scuttlebutt offers a sampler of the best erotic devices available on the market, from the classic Hitachi Magic Wand to the innovative Intensity, an electro-stimulator device to strengthen the Kegel muscles (and induce mind-blowing orgasms).
As usual, we’ve arranged discounts for ERWA visitors from all our partners, so you can get the very best implements of pleasure at the lowest possible prices. This month we welcome a new affiliate, UK-based Bondara.
Accelerate your orgasms: erotica-readers.com/ERA/ST/Sex_Toy_Playground.htm
Where to go next? Let’s circle back to the Erotica Gallery, where our guest author is the legendary Cecilia Tan, founder of Circlet Press and pioneer of the speculative erotica genre. Cecilia has provided three amazing stories as well as an incredible self-introduction. Would you believe she invented tentacle porn at the age of thirteen? Don’t miss her account of her sexual and literary journey.
As usual, the Gallery also features great stories, flashers and poetry from members of the Storytime list. This month’s contributions range from outrageous raunch to harsh realism. Highly recommended!
The mind is the ultimate erogenous zone: erotica-readers.com/GD/S/Erotic_Fiction.htm
If you’re craving more erotic writing after touring the Gallery, come browse our Books for Sensual Readers. This month you’ll find a wide variety of anthologies, from Maxim Jakubowski’s mammoth collection of the best of the best new erotica to Kristina Wright’s LUSTFULLY EVER AFTER, erotic retellings of classic fairy tales. J.T. MacLeod’s single author collection WARRIORS AND WENCHES features tales of magic, mischief, danger and desire. Meanwhile OC Press presents RAG DOLL: A HORROTICA NOVEL by Mathew Klickstein. The author guarantees that most readers will be shocked by his sociopathic anti-hero and the various depraved activities the characters enjoy (or suffer). Given the stellar reputation of the publisher, I for one am willing to take the risk.
Looking for erotic romance? Check out Cindy Spencer Pape’s IMMORTAL CRAVINGS series, featuring vampires, werewolves, demons, lion shifters and more, all eager to get it on with one another. In the gay erotica section, I was drawn to DON’T ASK, DON’T TELL, a multi-author collection about forbidden love in the military. And knowing Sacchi Green’s high editorial standards, I have to recommend GIRL FEVER: 69 STORIES OF SUDDEN SEX FOR LESBIANS.
There’s more… but the Mistress is threatening me with her riding crop, so I’ll just mention that purchases made through our links are ERWA’s only source of support, and move on.
Next stop is the Authors Resources pages. This month, Ashley Lister pens the final installment of his column “The Write Stuff” – “Visits from the Typo-Fairies”. Warning: don’t try to read this hilarious offering while drinking your coffee! And don’t be too disappointed about Master Lister’s departure. He’ll still be offering wise and witty authorial advice monthly on the ERWA blog. I continue my Naughy Bits series with my column “Did the Earth Move?” My topic is active content: forms, animations, videos, widgets and all that cool stuff that burns computer cycles. Want to know how it all works? Ask the Erotogeek!
Have you ever clicked the link labeled “Writers’ Resources”, below the monthly columns? You find a long list of useful websites for authors, from blogs and how-to sites to specialized dictionaries. Well worth a bookmark!
The Calls for Submission pages highlight dozens of current opportunities for you to sell your work. M.Christian’s looking for sexy spy stories for his Honeytrap anthology. Lucy Felthouse and Victoria Blisse are editing two collections, “Smut in the City” and “Smut by the Sea”, for the new House of Erotica imprint. Delilah Devlin’s looking for smoking hot fireman stories. Kristina Wright is editing a new collection of sexy erotic romance. And don’t miss the two open calls from the Coming Together altruistic erotica imprint: “Hungry for Love” – zombie erotica edited by Sommer Marsden to benefit the American Diabetes Foundation – and “In Vein” – vampire erotica to benefit Doctors Without Borders, edited by yours truly!
Don’t be afraid to submit: erotica-readers.com/ERA/AR/Erotica_Authors_Resources.htm

Also, on May 1, 2012, Melange’s new You Adult imprint, ‘Fire and Ice’ will go live! http://www.melange-books.com/subs.html
Well, I managed to make it through the site without being subjected to any of the Mistress’ discipline. Sigh. Maybe I’ll have better luck next time!
Speaking of next time, the ERWA site and the Erotic Lure will be taking our traditional break in June. I’m off to my annual slave’s training camp. I’ll be back with a new Lure around the beginning of July, in traditional red, white and blue lingerie.
Meanwhile, if you’re hungry for more hot, smart erotic content, check in regularly at the ERWA blog. I’ll be there, along with lots of your other favorite authors and columnists. http://erotica-readers.blogspot.com
Until then, I remain…

Coming Together: In Vein Vampire erotica anthology to benefit Doctors without Borders Editor: Lisabet Sarai Publisher: Coming Together series (Alessia Brio) Deadline: August 1, 2012 Payment: All proceeds will go to support Doctors without Borders
Do you love the undead? I’m seeking the crème de la crème of vampire-themed erotica and erotic romance for this charity anthology, to be published in December 2012 by Coming Together.
It’s true that vampire erotica has been done to death, but I’m sure you can think “out of the coffin” and give me tales that are new and different. Originality, exceptional writing, and eroticism that goes beyond the physical will be my top criteria in selecting stories to include. I love diversity, so I encourage you to submit not only M/F but also M/M, F/F, transgender, any variety of ménage whatever your dirty little mind can dream up. Your vampires don’t have to follow Stoker’s rules. If you can make me believe in a sun-worshipping, garlic-chomping vampire, go for it! Classically, vampire fiction is considered to belong to the paranormal genre but you’re free to mix in other genres: BDSM, historical, science fiction, steampunk, humor, whatever inspires you.
All proceeds from this anthology will go to support Doctors without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières). Thus contributors will not receive any payment other than a copy of the anthology in ebook form and the satisfaction of knowing you’ve made a difference. MSF is an international humanitarian organization that provides independent, impartial medical assistance in more than 60 countries to people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe, primarily due to armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from health care, or natural disasters. In 1999, MSF received the Nobel Peace Prize.
Oh, and if you want to see the outrageous cover Alessia Brio has designed for In Vein, just go to: lisabetsarai.blogspot.com/2012/04/call-for-submissions-vampire-erotica.html

Homoerotic writer R. Talent is proud to announce that he has just gotten the green light to edit his first anthology project that centers on the theme of men that pay other men for sexual favors. Erotic Lure Newsletter: April 2012 |
| Published: 47 days ago [ submited by Adrienne ] |
From the Erotica Readers & Writers Association By Lisabet Sarai _______
Dear Indulgers of the Id,
Welcome to the April edition of the Erotica Readers & Writers Association. Of course April is renowned for its showers, but here at ERWA none of us mind getting a bit wet. If you’re of the same mind, follow me as I point out our many lubricious landmarks.
In the Erotica Gallery, our featured author is Jeremy Edwards, one of the most original and amusing erotic authors around. What I enjoy most about Jeremy’s work is the fact that he clearly adores women – not just for their bodies but for their wit, warmth and sexual creativity. To see what I mean, sample the three seriously soaking stories he’s shared.
We’ve got other tales too, from your favorite ERWA authors, plus a whole page of luscious poetry. Month after month, the ERWA gallery offers surprising, arousing erotic writing from the gently suggestive to the extreme.
Let us stimulate your imagination: erotica-readers.com/GD/S/Erotic_Fiction.htm
In our Books for Sensual Readers section, we’re featuring releases from several exciting new imprints. Mischief Books, the new erotic arm (or some body part!) of literary giant Harper Collins presents THE SWAP, a sizzling anthology of tales about swinging. The spanking brand new Ellora’s Cave for Men line offers DANCE FOR YOUR SEX by Robby Mills, every guy’s fantasy about a gorgeous lawyer who moonlights as an exotic dancer. Meanwhile, veteran erotic publisher Cleis has several new anthos out, including BOUND BY LUST, edited by Shanna Germain, a collection of romantic BDSM. For hard core gay erotica, check out John Butler’s tale of a young teacher and his eager student, BOYS HARD AT WORK. And how can you resist a book edited by Sinclair Sexsmith? Her lesbian BDSM collection SAY PLEASE includes stories by D.L. King, Xan West, and many other masters and mistresses of lesbian fiction. Those of you who, like me, are ripening fast may appreciate Joan Price’s BETTER THAN I EXPECTED, an informative and encouraging treatise on senior sex. And if you’ve never read Laura Antoniou’s BDSM classic THE MARKETPLACE, Circlet Press has republished the work in a gorgeous new edition.
If you decide that you want to own any of these gems, I hope you’ll use the links on the ERWA pages. Income from our affiliates is what keeps ERWA alive and kicking!
Reading is sexy! erotica-readers.com/ERA/EB/Erotic_Books.htm
Feeling a bit of a chill? Hop over to the Sex Toy Playground, where we’ll warm you up (but not dry you off!) Start with our treatise on cock rings – leather, rubber, steel, adjustable, vibrating, diamond-studded – with detailed instructions on how to use them pleasurably and safely. Kyra Saunders reviews the Boss Naked Vibe, which looks delectable. Plus you can get the word on the latest and greatest erotic implements from our monthly Sex Toy Scuttlebutt. I’m dying for the elegant Crave Duet Vibe, “the little black dress” of clit vibes, and I wouldn’t mind a Spare-Parts harness either…! Our reputable partners offer special discounts for ERWA visitors. Honestly, what are you waiting for?
For the ultimate in erotic technology: erotica-readers.com/ERA/ST/Sex_Toy_Playground.htm
Over in the Adult Movies section, we’ve got a wet, wild crop of movies to keep you entertained on a rainy day. Brad Armstrong directs an all-star cast in “The Craving II”, a collection of erotic fairy tale vignettes. This is not Disney! I’m not generally a fan of parodies, but “SpiderMan XXX” sounds like it might be an exception, a gonzo super-hero sex-fest that still manages to remain true to its comic roots. And who could resist “Home Wrecker”, where an insatiable young woman lures her well-hung roommates into cheating on their girlfriends? It’s when those gals find out that the fun really begins!
We’ve got porn for every taste – from couples flicks to filthy non-stop orgies to sex-ed features that make learning into good dirty fun.
Get visual: erotica-readers.com/ERA/AM/Adult_Movies.htm
In the Authors Resources pages, Donna George Storey explains how to write like a rock star (and offers a recipe for cookies that sound genuinely orgasmic). In “Only to be Read by Writers”, Ashley Lister confesses a secret vice – bad poetry. I don my Erotogeek persona to talk about image problems – how to tame unruly covers, banners and head shots and make them do your will.
Our Calls for Submissions include many exciting new opportunities. Mischief Books (see above) is seeking erotica and erotic romance. Violet Blue wants the Best Women’s Erotica for her 2013 collection. Ravenous Romance seeks contributions for “Leather Ever After”, an anthology of BDSM fairy tales. Storm Moon Press has calls out for several GBLT anthologies. And don’t miss “Cream of the Crop”, an imaginative prompt-based story collection revolving around a mysterious riding crop abandoned on a London-Paris train.
There are many more publishers listed, all of them eagerly awaiting your submissions. So get to it!
The world wants to read your erotic dreams: erotica-readers.com/ERA/AR/Erotica_Authors_Resources.htm
Inside the Erotic Mind, our libidinous visitors discuss the appeal of high heels. The general consensus seems to be that the allure makes the pain worthwhile. You can join in the lively discussion. Just click on Participate.
Explore erotic frontiers: erotica-readers.com/ERA/ITEM/Inside_The_Erotic_Mind.htm
By the way, the ERWA staff has taken on the onerous task of vetting the zillions of adult-oriented sites clogging the web. You’ll find our recommendations for best of the best on our links page: http://erotica-readers.com/ERA/L/Adult_Entertainment_Links.htm
I hope you’ve enjoyed our whirlwind tour of April’s delights. As for me, I’m off to the shower – penning the Lure tends to get me hot and bothered. And yes, I have been reading about the latest waterproof toys in the Playground.
Until next month – stay wet!
Lubriciously yours, Lisabet

Smokin’ Hot Firemen: Firefighter Romance Stories Editor: Delilah Devlin Publisher: Cleis Press in Summer 2013 Deadline: June 15, 2012 (although sooner is better!) Payment: $50.00 USD and two copies of the published book upon publication
Smokin’ Hot Firemen is open to all authors.
Editor Delilah Devlin is looking for hetero firefighter stories for a romantic erotica anthology tentatively entitled Smokin’ Hot Firemen: Firefighter Romance Stories.
A firefighter is one of those iconic heroes who inspire a jumble of sexy images at just the mention of the word—a soot-covered face, sweat dripping from hard, chiselled muscles, the sexy snap of suspenders—yes, only a fireman can make suspenders sexy!
Smokin’ Hot Firemen will seek stories that satisfy the reader who craves the romantic idea of that soot-covered, smokin’-hot man while exploring stories set in American cities and small towns, as well as international settings. The stories will be contemporary. While traditional themes are likely to be featured, writers are encouraged to imagine greater in order to create tales that, while featuring this iconic hero, may also surprise.
Think about the big-city firehouse, teaming with sexy firemen, responding to a high-rise fire; firefighters arriving at the scene of an accident to pry a victim from a burning car; a strong, sexy man carrying a child from a burning house… All heroic acts we expect from our local heroes. Then think about the smoke-jumper parachuting into the hot zone of a forest fire; the sexy rancher next door, who’s also a volunteer firefighter, responding to an out-of-control brush fire; or even an oil-rig worker whose extra duty is to respond to a catastrophe on a rig in the middle of the ocean…
Then imagine the romantic possibilities of being held against that massively muscled chest by a man whose mission is to protect and serve…

He Looks Like Trouble: Bad Boy Erotica Editor: Shane Allison Publisher: Cleis Press in late 2013 Payment: $50 and 2 copies of the book on publication Deadline: July 1, 2012 (earlier submissions encouraged and preferred)
Bikers, tatted up punks, dirty cops and crime bosses. Do you love a bad boy as much as I do, men who live their lives everyday on the wild side? The type of boys you dream of riding up on their hogs, or in a muscle car to carry you away from the mundane? Shane Allison is in search of the best bad boy based erotica around, focusing on a range of techniques, implements, characters and scenarios, from new blood to seasoned scribes. The bad boy theme should be a central focus of the erotic element of the story but the plot does not have to hinge on it.
Think:
-Leather-clad Bikers -Edgy Rockers -Dirty Cops -Crime Bosses -Horned up gangbangers -Tatted up Punks
Include your legal name (and pseudonym if applicable), mailing address, and 50 word or less bio in the third person to helooksliketroubleantho@gmail.com.
If you are using a pseudonym, please provide your real name and pseudonym and make it clear which one you’d like to be credited as. You will receive a confirmation within 72 hours. I will get back to you by August 2012. Be sure to include contact and bio information on the FIRST page of your story.
Payment: $50 and 2 copies of the book on publication Deadline: July 1, 2012 (earlier submissions encouraged and preferred)

Big Man on Campus: Gay Erotic Fiction Editor: Shane Allison Publisher: Cleis Press in late 2013 Payment: $50 and 2 copies of the book on publication Deadline: June 1, 2012 (earlier submissions encouraged and preferred)
Hot on the heels of the Gaybie award-winning College Boys, Shane Allison goes back to school with Big Man on Campus in search of the best college based erotica around, focusing on a range of techniques, implements, characters and scenarios, from new blood to seasoned scribes. The collegiate theme should be a central focus of the erotic element of the story but the plot does not have to hinge on students, frat boys or professors. Think of late night study sessions in the library, a horny professor fantasizing of that beefy jock that sits teasing him from the back of the class, randy foreign exchange students and of course an anthology of this theme would not be complete without a college jock being thrown in. Please see College Boys: Gay Erotic Stories and Frat Boys: Gay Erotic Stories to get an idea of the kinds of stories I dig.
How to submit: Send double spaced Times or Times New Roman 12 point black font Word document with pages numbered (.doc, not .docx) OR RTF of 1,500-4,000 word story. Mischief Books www.mischiefbooks.com Editor: Adam Nevill
We publish an extensive list of original erotica and erotic romance in themed short story anthologies, petite novels of 40K minimum word length, novels and single author collections of 80K minimum word length.
We are looking for inspired and imaginative explorations of fantasies, considered writing, well-developed characters, and interesting stories. Stories need to be written in a modern idiom and the reader must find it easy to suspend her disbelief.
WHAT TO SEND US
In the first instance, for single author titles (novel, novella or single author collections), you should send the following:
i) A short paragraph explaining what the submission is about, within your email (for short stories please state the title of the collection you are submitting to).
ii) For novels, novellas and single author collections of short stories, an outline of the work. Include the first chapter/story and two other chapters/stories of the finished text of single author titles which show your writing at its best.
We will attempt to acknowledge your proposal within a week of receiving it. But please be patient for news of an editorial decision. We are already receiving a large volume of proposals each week, so we’re constantly working with a huge backlog. The average waiting time for a full response can be as long as three months.
At Mischief we do pay advances for novels and novellas, as well as a very competitive royalty rate.
Short Story Collections
Your story should not already be published anywhere in the world, unless, in some special cases you have all rights reverted to you. Ideally, it will have been written for the Mischief series and will adhere to our guidelines. The story should aspire to be about more than ‘some people having sex’ and we can only accept stories written for the themes (which offer a wide brief). The emphasis is on intensity, imagination, tension, pleasure, the thrills of shame, and explicit action and what’s-at-stake for the main character. We want to position these collections as suitable for the general reader as well as erotica readers.
We pay a flat fee of £75 providing your story is 4000 words. Payment is made on publication.

Erotic Lure Newsletter: March 2012 |
| Published: 77 days ago [ submited by Adrienne ] |
From the Erotica Readers & Writers Association By Lisabet Sarai _______
Dear Bootylicious Babes and Backdoor Boyfriends,
Welcome to the March edition of the Erotica Readers & Writers Association. I chose the salutation above because we seem to have an anal erotic thread running through the site this month. Not that I mind, of course. Anyone who’s read my stories knows how I feel about rear-entry revels. (I recently noticed, with a bit of embarrassment, that there’s a butt plug in every one of my novels!)
In the Sex Toy Playground, to start with, we have Alicia Guinn’s great article “How to Bend Over Your Boyfriend”. Ms. Guinn writes with authority about the myths and truths concerning anal sex, offering step by step instructions for novices that had me, at least, squirming in my chair. Mr. and Mrs. Toy continue the theme with their rave review of the Spare Parts Deuce Male Harness, a machine-washable dildo harness that allows double penetration by the male – but which does double duty when a lady wants to wear it. Our regular Sex Toy Scuttlebutt column includes a couple of devices oriented toward anal exploration (and discount coupons from many of our affiliates). Of course, if butt sex isn’t your bag, you’ll find lots of other pleasure-enhancing artifacts in our Toy pages.
Shouldn’t you take some time out to play? erotica-readers.com/ERA/ST/Sex_Toy_Playground.htm
I just found out that “pegging” is slang for a female anally penetrating a male. Talk about life-long learning…! In the Adult Movies section, we’re featuring Tristan Taormino’s “Expert Guide to Pegging” – simultaneously educational and arousing. And speaking of Ms. Taormino, she’s also in the spotlight over in the Books for Sensual Readers section, with her new compendium THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO KINK: BDSM, ROLE PLAY AND THE EROTIC EDGE. I’ve put it on my wish list – as I said, you can always learn something new!
The Movies pages offer many more delights, in particular two very different films directed by Nica Noelle. “A Mother’s Love” deals with the explosive attraction between a devoted mother and her grown-up son’s best friend. The more hard core “Office Affairs: The Office Flirt” offers up a high-powered female executive who takes on the re-education of an inappropriately flirtatious subordinate. I also zeroed in on “The Bodyguard”, the tale of an international mob boss who hires a female bodyguard to keep his sexually insatiable daughter out of trouble – with predictably steamy results. I’m sure you know already that if you’re intrigued by these films, or any others of the dozens we feature, you should use our links to purchase them. Not only will you be supporting ERWA, we’ve also arranged for you to get the very best prices from our partners.
Lights! Camera! And some serious action! erotica-readers.com/ERA/AM/Adult_Movies.htm
Personally, although I enjoy a lusty adult film (especially if it includes anal sex), I’m a word girl at heart. When I open a new edition of ERWA, the Erotica Gallery is always my first stop. This month, ERWA is honored to have the legendary Maxim Jakubowski as our featured author. His astounding bio is almost as fascinating as the three atmospheric erotic vignettes he’s supplied, set in New Orleans, Venice and Greenwich Village.
In addition to Maxim’s contributions, the March Gallery features an amazing variety of fiction authored by both long-time members and newcomers. From a pimp reincarnated as a vengeful snowman to a high-spirited hillbilly romp featuring plenty of (you guessed it) anal sex – from wistful gay desire to an invitation from the Devil – well, you really never know what you’ll find in the ERWA Galleries, but you can be sure it won’t be the same old erotica cliches. We’ve got poetry, too, brave and beautiful attempts to capture the elusive experience of Eros.
Indulge yourself in the best erotic writing on the Web: erotica-readers.com/GD/S/Erotic_Fiction.htm
The Gallery always whets my appetite for more erotic tales. Fortunately, our Books for Sensual Readers pages have what it takes to satisfy me. Pick up a copy of OBSESSED, Rachel Kramer Bussel’s new anthology focusing on female desire. Reviewer Ashley Lister guarantees you wont’ be disappointed. Then there’s Maria Isabel Pita’s CROOK & FLAIL, a tale of Egypt, BDSM and passion that survives beyond the grave. Belinda McBride’s gay romance AN UNCOMMON WHORE is sexy, escapist fun, featuring a ruthless pirate captain and a male prostitute with a secret. D.L. King presents a new anthology of butch-femme erotica entitled THE HARDER SHE COMES. And I’ve just got to read Nicholson Baker’s outrageous HOUSE OF HOLES, a bizarre visit to a pleasure resort where the rules of logic, physics and common sense are all suspended.
I found all these fantastic titles in a quick dash through the “featured books” page. Dig deeper and you’ll discover a treasure trove of erotic literature (not to mention art, photography and adult comics). Like what you see? You know what to do, right? (Hint: it involves our links to Amazon and Amazon UK.)
Find pleasure between the pages: erotica-readers.com/ERA/EB/Erotic_Books.htm
In the March Authors Resources pages, William Gaius is back after a few months’ hiatus. His excellent article on the art and science of choosing a pseudonym should be required reading for both novice and experienced authors, since his guidelines mostly apply to selecting character names as well. Witty and wise Ashley Lister talks about “The Joy of Deadlines”, vowing that he’ll never again leave a commitment to the last minute. Meanwhile, my series Naughty Bits continues with a simple, common-sense tutorial on HTML and web basics for authors. The World Wide Web is not nearly as complicated as you might think.
Our Guidelines and Submissions pages continue to grow. Open calls include “Hungry for Love”, a Coming Together charity anthology of zombie erotic fiction edited by Sommer Marsden to benefit diabetes research. D.L. King is seeking fem-dom erotica for “Under Her Thumb” while Shane Allison wants gay frat-boy stories for “Hot Pledges”. Kathleen Warnock is seeking stories for “Best Lesbian Erotica” and Blushing Books specializes in spanking stories of all sorts. Other opportunities include Carina Press’ call for science fiction novellas (not necessarily romantic or erotic) and Sizzler Editions’ open submissions for Sex in London and Sex in New York collections.
This is just a brief sampling from the ERWA list of publishing opportunities. You’ll find places to sell everything from romance to raunch, from flash fiction to full-length novels. ERWA is THE authority on the erotica market.

A Good Time Was Had By All |
| Published: 78 days ago [ submited by Adrienne ] |
The following report about the March 1st Erotic Romance Live Chat with Kristina Wright is from ERWA staffer Rose:
I just wanted to say that last evening’s live Erachat March Erotic Romance Theme Event (the first of two this month) last night was a complete success. We had about 25 people in there — some I knew, some who I was meeting for the first time — and everyone came with terrific questions for Kristina Wright, who was a most gracious guest with loads of knowledge and personality, both of which were evident to everyone who attended. Thanks, of course, to Kristina, but also to Karen/khatt ( our incomparable Erachat host), and to everyone who joined in. You people all rock!
The two-hour event just flew by. Before I knew it, it was coming up on 10 o’clock and we had to call it a night (at least officially… folks were welcome to hang around and chat with their fellow ERWAers and a few did.)
For those of you who would have liked to attend, but were unable to, Kristina agreed to allow us to log the chat, so the transcript of the session last night is available on ERWA website at:
Erotic_Romance_Chat_with_Kristina_Wright.htm
I’m looking forward to the next live chat event, on Saturday, March 17th at 3:00pm EST (12 noon PST; 8:00pm GMT) with Lynne Connolly as our guest erotic romance writer. Hope to see a lot of you there.
Rose ;-) ERWA Story Editor
